Hello! I am so excited to begin my 14th year teaching here at St. Michael School! This year I will be teaching on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. I will be the music teacher for students in grades K-3, 4th grade chorus, and will co-teach 5th grade band, 6th grade band and the 7th/8th grade band this year. I will also be directing our fall drama production - The Wizard of Oz young players edition. I believe strongly in the gift of a Catholic School Education and am so grateful to work in a school where I can share my faith and love of the Lord daily! I am a graduate of St. Wendelin school and I earned my music education degree from Eastern Michigan (Go Green!), where I met husband at a marching band rehearsal. We have been married for 12 years and are blessed with two wonderful daughters and a beautiful son! We enjoy participating in music ministry together with our praise band - Rising Dawn. Please contact me at any time via email.
Mr. C. will be teaching general music in grades 4-8, directing the 5/6, 7/8 choirs, assisting with the 4th grade chorus and co-teaching 5th grade band, 6th grade band and the 7th/8th grade band this year. He will also be teaching lessons to our 5th grade beginning band students. Robert has been active in his faith life at St. Wendelin Parish and was involved with the Christ Renews His Parish program for several years. He brings a large variety of musical experiences to the table (ask him about his time touring in England with his ska band!) and is excited to be working with our students more this year! He earned his music education degree from Eastern Michigan and his Masters in Music Performance from BGSU.
