Hello! I am so excited to begin my 12th year teaching here at St. Michael School! I will be out on maternity leave until Nov. 1 and Mr. Ciesluk will be subbing for these classes. This year I will be teaching only on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays so that I can be home more for my family. I will be the music teacher for students in grades K-3, will assist with the 4th and 5th grade chorus, and will co-teach 5th grade band, 6th grade band and the 7th/8th grade band this year. I believe strongly in the gift of a Catholic School Education and am so grateful to work in a school where I can share my faith and love of the Lord daily! I earned my music education degree from Eastern Michigan (Go Green!), where I met my now husband of 9 years! We are blessed with two wonderful daughters and our son born this summer! We enjoy participating in music ministry together with our praise band - Rising Dawn. We live in Fostoria, and are active members of St. Wendelin Parish. I am a 1998 graduate of St. Wendelin schools as well!
Mr. C. will be teaching general music in grades 4-8, directing the 5/6, 7/8 choirs, assisting with the 4th grade chorus and co-teaching 5th grade band, 6th grade band and the 7th/8th grade band this year. He will be in the building on Mondays, Fridays and Tuesday/Thursday afternoons. Robert has been active in his faith life at St. Wendelin Parish and has been involved with the Christ Renews His Parish program for several years. He brings a large variety of musical experiences to the table and is excited to be working with our students more this year! He earned his music education degree from Eastern Michigan and his Masters in Music Performance from BGSU.
